In Crested Butte they used to have a chainless race. I have seen people ride things way crazier than that downhill. I think they stopped it a few years ago, post covid. Bummer but post covid plus, yeah, look up some videos, you can imagine why they would cancel it.

What kind of hill? That looks like an old mtb. I would 100% do this with my buddies on a gnarly green descent or even a light blue.

Rode my tandem like this around White Rim Trail in Moab with my wife. Ours was a GT. It takes more guts to be on the back I think. We used to ride it on trail often. When my daughter was little she was notorious for taking her feet off the pedals while climbing. Happy memories.

Back in the day, Nicolai (being Nicolai) built a few full suspension DH tandems, including some with gearboxes and high pivots! Looked like a lot of fun.
