Tires, saddle, handlebars, bar tape, stem? Don’t spend your money on upgrades. Ride it, enjoy it. If you want something better, sell it and buy new one.

Would spend money on improving bike fit (handlebar, stem, saddle). Tires are usually a cheap upgrade. After that you are better off getting a nicer bike over upgrading parts.

I have a Triban RC 520, my first upgrade was tyres because the original ones are really that sluggish. They are bullet proof tho, and will live many years in my commuter. After this I swapped the saddle to one I found more comfortable.
Other than that, I think of any upgrades with a new bike in mind. “Could I use this power meter in a new bike?” “Could this wheel set be used in a new bike? (Care for QR vs TA)”
In my perspective, most upgrades aren’t really that worth, I’ll only upgrade anything on this bike whenever anything is worn out. I still love it tho, and I want to keep it when I buy a new one
