  1. That definitely looks like a legitimate crack, but I’d get a carbon expert to inspect it.

  2. That’s cracked frame for sure. Time to start calling manufacturer if it’s a warranty type crack, otherwise a replacement frame off pinkbike

    I’ve done a couple carbon repairs. It’s possible on your own. But obviously risky. Your photos look like more than paint, and I’d guess you’re looking at some carbon frame repairs. One way to test carbon is to take a coin, like a dime, and tap it against the frame to do sound resonance testing. If it sounds ‘hollow’ or ‘flat’ when you tap the coin compared to other underaged areas, it’s a good indicator you’ve got damage. It looks repairable-what happened to cause the damage?
