Bought this bike a few weeks ago from local bike coop/recycler. Only went for first ride today because it was for my Bday.
Chain jumps off under load and rides up without load. It’s still under warranty but it’s Sunday and if it’s not just rooted parts I’d like to ride it if I can.
Front derailleur seems fine

Yes, chainring is worn
Chainring worn, and if it’s anything like my bike last year, I would check your chain with a chain checker. I replaced chainrings, chain and cassette as they were all cooked.
Then switch to waxing and your chainline will last forever 🙂
