Hi!
Today I found a long cut on my rear tire, probably from glas shards or something. It doesn't seem to be too deep, as the tire is still holding the air, but wide enough for small stones to get inside. It's tubeless btw.
Would you people still ride it? I don't want my tire to explode while riding fast or somewhere where I would have to walk a long way home.

Not an expert, but I would personally totally replace that
My shortest rides are about 40km on back country roads. I don’t want to be walking any portion of that home pushing a bike or in bike shoes. Looking at that photo, between the slice and the tread degradation, I’m putting a pair of new tires on. Go to your local bike shop get some help picking an appropriate tread design and compound for the terrain you ride and your riding style. This will help optimize your tire life. Good luck!
I’d ride on it if I had a spare tube, but would also replace it ASAP.
Personally? I’m replacing it. If that slash starts oozing sealant you could carry an inner tube and throw it in there to get you home I guess, but if the whole slash bursts open an inner tube won’t really help.
