Seems the teams should have a plan in place for what each rider should do when their radio is not working. If it happens so often, the teams need to prepare for the radios not working.

Yah, SD Worx team went full ugly today, radio or not. Lance was spot on: You never abandon your team leader (double that if she's in yellow!). Sure, it's nice that Blanka Vas got a win after getting pipped at the olympics: Olympic hangover? Also, I'm wondering what the heck the yellow jersey (Demi) was doing sitting in the middle of the peleton in a risky position not at the front surrounded by teammates. She was mid-pack when she crashed at 6 km. IMO, DS failed bigly…PS: Ashleigh is the BEST!

It seems as if the teamwork in the women’s tour is not as disciplined as in the men’s. Is it me? I’m surely not an expert, but the ladies, in general, don’t stick together as well as the men. Thoughts?

Do the Director Sportives of the women's teams make team members that caused all the issues ride the front as punishment on the next stage for such a break in protocol like they do on the men's teams?
Demi might consider riding next years tour with a team, because with a team she could have had help getting to the finish and help cut the losses. I admire privateers but having teammates really helps in this sport.

FWIW I was trying to listen to the radio feed and I heard nothing. But there's some ruthlessness bc other teammates said they knew and went ahead. Talk about throwing her under the bus! It's about the contract stuff?

Great to see Ashleigh on your show, too bad she could not be in the TDF this year. I agree with most of what you talk about, but I think you do not give Kasia enough credit. She is wearing the yellow jersey for a reason: she is a very good cyclist. And of course SD Workx and all the other teams have plans and ambitions, but Kasia is super focused on this TDF, and she is great climber, and my prediction is she will surprise everybody on Alpe d"Huez and win this TDF Femmes avec Swift.

Seems to be very nervous in the peloton this race, as there were a bunch of crashes in every stage. So in that way it's kinda following the nervosity of the men's TdF

It was soooo embarrassing what happend today, Wiebes said that she "saw a yellow blur going down" while IT IS ON FILM that actually she crashed Demi, then did not even bother to wait and check on her and sprinted for 8th. Disasterclass

Also, SD Worx team manager said weird stuff after the race. As if helping Vollering was too late. Only Blanka showed her feelings: ashamed, not happy. Perhaps she got the order to stay at the front? She called it "a shame", it was not right.
If you speak dutch/flemish and when it got asked from Wiebes what happened she said I saw something yellow on the ground (her chances to win were long gone, yet she does nothing). There's so much internal competition between Vollering and Wiebes in the team who's the top dog and most valuable rider,
I would probably give Blanca a pass but what Wiebes did unpassable and unacceptable behaviour (selfish). What Demi did wrong is that she didn't get into radio right away
