The guy on the moped is so lame. Because of guys like that, I'll always believe that the #1 rule of cycling in a big city is that you have to have eyes for the people who aren't looking out for themselves. You can be doing EVERYTHING right, but it's the dumb motherf*ckers who are too entitled to care that will get you into an accident. There's a certain blind corner street that I often take, that even though I have the green light, I always slow way TF down, because often times, there's cyclists popping out and just crossing the red light without taking precaution. Believe me, I've saved myself quite a few accidents by allowing people to take advantage. I'd be fully justified to blow through the green light at a confident speed, but I can either be right and on the floor, or I can be right while stopped at a green light. Both options suck, but one hurts a heck of a lot less.
Literally, it’s like everyone who gets on one of these instantly loses 50 IQ points and starts making the most stupid decisions I’ve ever seen.
As a person on an ebike I'm sorry for the idiots when I ride mine I'm lit up from front to back with signal gear and helmet but I go at a good 10 mph in bike lanes and I pull over for manual bikes to come through

I ride an e-scooter and had a few issues with these moped guys recently. They’re allllll over the city. Had one riding opposite in the bike lane and we both stopped to prevent a crashed. Spoke for like two mins, me scolding him lol
