That’s a mile to me. I’ve even gone as far as filing the underside of the crown and brake arch for more room.

Tape it and send it. If the tape shreds, you need room.

Send it… I’ve run tighter than that without issue. Once the hairs are gone from the tire it won’t really even be that close.

Looks like plenty for most conditions. Muddy rides might be an issue, but honestly I don’t know if all the clearance in the world makes a difference then. I’ve definitely ran tighter in the rear with no issues.

I’ve run tighter but mud and small rocks got caught in there and wore a grove in my tires. No problems in dry conditions, but there’s always a compromise when maxing out clearance.
