I have always been pro replacing helmets when they are compromised. But is this helmet categorized as compromised due to this dent?
I have had the helmet for about 4/5 years. Oakley aro3. I use other helmets for gravel and mtb so this has only done about 3000kms and never been crashed.
I don’t know how the dent came about and no other scratches, dents or cracks
Time to replace or good to go?

No need to replace it
Isn’t the shelf life of a helmet, even without a crash or even being used often, around 4 to 5 years anyway?
There appear to be cracks in the styrofoam as well. One vertically and a long one parallel to the outer shell. Can you confirm this or does it just look like that in the picture?
