Yes. It’s an expensive overpriced dedicated time trial bike and definitely not a road bike for a beginner. You are literally better off with anything else.

It is a 20 year old triathlon or time trial bike. It is the absolute worst choice you could make as a beginner. The fit is very finicky. The ride is harsh. The handling is difficult and the bike is unstable because you put a weight out over the front wheel. It also seems over priced.

pass. horrible first bike. look for something with endurance geometry. for that money you can get a brand new contend or allez.

that bike is a pretty specialized tool that isn’t appropriate. if you want something fast and uncomfortably aggressive, old rim brake trek carbon bikes are getting down to 3-500. titanium road bikes are around 800. but I agree that you could look for something that has endurance geometry, aka slightly more upright than the most aggressive road bikes. get a bike that fits you. estimating fit when checking out used bikes can be a bit tricky. asking the seller is sometimes helpful.
