  1. Likely an ‘97 as it’s an aheadset fork and stem combo in 1-1/8” which didn’t exist in ‘89.

    I’d say it’s a 97. 2 different kids in my riding crew had this exact same bike back in 96-97. Great dirt jumper.

  3. If I recall correctly it’s mm/yy on the SN in earlier years the last 2 were were whatever manufacturer facility it came from.

    Should be an Interceptor made in August 1997 and the 202nd frame made. However I’ve never seen one with chainstay 990 brake mounts, I’ve only seen seatstay canti mounts. Awesome frame.
