The fuse is a month old and he got it from a local bike shop for 1200$ because of discount i think and he put new shocks Rock shox Judy 140 mm travel and new pedals he said he wants to sell me it for 1100$ or 1200$ but with the shocks the bike is 1600$ he said. His reason to sell it is to get money for a new bike a full sus if i don’t buy he will just sell to bike shop. Should i get it? I am going to test ride it later today i don’t know a lot about bikes so please let me know. 2nd picture is when he first got it 1st is it rn. please help!

Let him sell it to a shop. It’s used. Used bikes don’t sell for more than the new model just because of an upgraded fork.

This bike is on sale online for cheaper than he is selling. There is no way a bike shop is buying it back for anything more than $400, maybe $500 if he’s lucky.

Look up the private seller price on bicycle blue book.com that should be fairly accurate and that fork should add maybe $50 to the value it’s not a good fork

I’d pay new price – 30% off + 100$ for air fork upgrade = 750 or so tops. 650 would be better. maybe 825 absolute max.

Those are selling for $950 new, although you might have trouble finding the right size. The Judy fork is better than the stock coil fork, but it isn’t the $400 upgrade he’s claiming.
