I’m going to say no. There are too many nice bikes out there and technology has come a long way to be spending 1000 dollars on bikes of this caliber. I will say that 1000 isn’t necessarily enough to buy something new but I think there are better and newer used options for 1000.

If it’s your size and checks all the boxes I say go for it! Maybe you can make them an offer but either way $1000 for (older) ultegra, carbon frame, and carbon wheels seems good to me. Enjoy it and that’s all that matters!
