Hello all, I’m currently in the midst of my trip & heading slowly towards Perpignan ( currently in Girona ) I’ve taken a look at my routes over the next few days and this section looks amazing if it’s actually rideable? The sections of land look so narrow that my mind is telling me these could be washed in & out tidally?? Is this the case? Forgive my stupidity if it’s a completely normal area. Komoot has been throwing me some intense curveballs already so I don’t want to end up swimming with my bike 😂😂 has anyone rode this route already? It’s going to be Monday or so before I am there so any advice greatly appreciated.

I did not ride that part but near Montpellier, it looks small because it is a path next to a canal, so should be ok. If you have issues or want to play it safe you can always fallback on the Euro velo route that goes that way
