
So my straps for the rear rack are out of place somehow, and when I wheel it along in shopping cart mode they scrape along the floor. I think I’ve tried putting them under neath the rack but they don’t stay in the position I need them to for the straps to hold things.
How do I get it back to its normal position?

I pull mine forward and hook on to “axles” of the frame mounted forward roller wheels… that is to say, NOT crossed diagonally, but goung straight forwards.
However, as I recall, Brompton do say they should be crossed over, but I am not sure why…(???)
Also, many of us have fitted larger roller wheels, mostly for easier rolling, but it helps with ground clearance too. Brompton sell their own set of “easy wheels,” but there is lots of choice.
I pull mine straight forwards and hook on to the frame inside the forward wheels.
Also, larger diameter wheels give more ground clearance. Lots of larger wheels are available, including Brompton’s own “Easy Wheels.”
