  1. Hairline crack?! That’s more like a fissure. Next time instead of going beyond 5-6 Nm, maybe try some carbon paste?

    It’s the best to get rid of the frame , you can replace material items, but you can’t replace human life.

    I’m sure thats a standard size seat post clamp and is easily replaceable. It might take a universal one that your LBS has hanging behind the register. Unsure until you look. The frame is fine, this is not a catastrophic carbon failure, don’t sell the bike cheap or toss it in a river.

    If I was 20 miles from home, I would get a 3/8″ hose clamp and place it right below the bolts, but still on the clamp, I’d probably also forget about the temp fix for the next few years and enjoy the ride. If I was dumb, I would glue it in place with two part epoxy.
