A Child seat compatible with Brompton – I have a child at 1 year old and this topic bugged me when I was considering owning a Brompton last year. Most of us here should agree that Brompton loses its value if it is not able to fold into the compact form size, so any seats that hinder the folding were not considered.
Until recently I got my Thule Yepp mini installed.
Frankly, the mount doesn't fit completely with the stem but it is still secure enough to hold the seat and my 12kg child. It gives enough clearance for leg movement when riding, the seat itself can be detached easily and most importantly, the bicycle folds perfectly if the brand cover is removed.
The seat itself has a 15kg max limit and is recommended for children up to 3 years old. My child will soon outgrow but the good news is we are having another little one who will inherit the child seat!
I didn't choose Bobike because it requires a third-party adapter to make it work on Brompton. Milian Pere IT chair or Urrider are other popular options but my child is still too small to leave her unbuckled.

Neat setup (and congratulations on the good news), looks fun too. I always like seeing child seats on bikes, the default option seems to be a multi $$$$ electric cargobike nowadays 😅
