I've been looking for a first bike to do some basic biking around the city and some dirt bike paths. I've added photos of each bike. I'm in Canada Ontario and am 5'10/5'11 which makes me think the Specialized Crossroads might be too small for me but posted in case I was wrong.

Yes the Specialized is too small.
Prices seem fine 200 CAD/130 USD. Ride them both and see if you like one more than the other. Slight preference for the silver bike. Mainly based on looks. I would remove the gel cover, at least look under it and see if there is a good condition seat underneath. If it needs replacement see if they will take a discount.
