NJ Transit bike trip of the day: Gladstone!

* Train to Gladstone

* Older train and the conductor was nice, taught me how to put my bike in correctly

* Area got really pretty as I got towards the end, farms and fields

* Level boarding

* Got an excellent Italian sandwich, absolutely massive – Gladstone Corner Deli & Grill

* Rode to Natirar Park

* Stunning open fields and paths

* Ridge trail was a fun challenge

* Met a lovely older couple and talked about the mansion on the hill

* Rode to Willowwood arboretum

* Rode to Brooks Brewery

* 11 Long miles of hilly gravel road past beautiful mansions

* Stopped at a swim club to refill my water

* Really had to push myself to get to the brewery

* had two beers: raspberry and banana

* Quite delicious, and a fun crowd for a Monday evening. We all sang “Rocket Man” together

* Somerville station is nice

* Level boarding
