Pirelli tires seem to be the stiffest I’ve tried. These feel as fast as the Conti Terra Speed. It does not feel as supple as a GravelKing Slick. Very impressed with the tubeless fitting. Seems similar to the Specialized Pathfinder Pros.

I’ve been rocking the gravel Ms tubeless this summer. Have about 600 mi on em so far. I imagine the H’s would be a bit faster on road, but the M’s are fabulous otherwise!
Really liked the Gravel M a while back. At the Moment I am on G-One R tires, in 45-622 like the Pirellis. The G-Ones feel faster than the M and definitely are more supple. Haven’t tried them side by side, but they are my favourite tire atm and I don’t have a reason to change other than curiosity.
That’s a gorgeous Rove, you’ve done pretty much every upgrade I want to do to mine! Do you know how much it weighs, or how much less than stock?
I’ve tried both the H and M and they both have incredibly stiff casings which gives a harsh, dull ride. I suspect they are popular because lots of folks have never tried a truly supple gravel tire.
After 700 km I had like 20 holes in my front a rear tire and multiple flats even with tubeless setup and ditched them for Pathfinder pro and found my new beloved tire.
Better grip, cheaper, till now not a single hole only for a little slower roll. Totally worth the switch for me.

I rode the gravel M for about 1000km. Replaced due to frequent punctures on the rocky stuff and semi-predictable loss of traction cornering at speed. Three punctures and a DNF on the Gralloch meant they were going in the bin.
Replaced with s-werks Pathfinders which are solid AF
What frame is that? Lynskey?
I was a big gravel M fan but it always frustrated me that on 25mm inner hookless wheels the 40s measured 42.5mm wide and the 45s measured 47.5mm wide.
That being said I recently went to Vittoria mezcal 44s and really like them and they measure exactly 44mm aka my max tire clearance on my revolt. They are a bit more supple than the gravel M and I actually have my rear tire slip less when climbing steep gravel. They remind me of a grippier maxxis rambler. They were the hardest tire to get on the wheel tho.
