  1. You can approximate it by running your fingernail on teeth edges. If you feel it’s catching, there’s a good chance the cassette needs changing.

    For a definite answer, measure the chain stretch, if it’s below 0,5%, you’re fine. If it’s above, replace the chain and see if it skips on any of the gears. If it does, cassette needs replacing

  2. Doesn’t look too worn to me but compare it to a picture of a new cassette and you should be able to tell.
