I have a less than 3 months old pair of Vittoria Corsa tubeless tires.
They have less than 500 miles on them
Recently I started noticing the rear one would lose air overnight, so I sprayed both with soapy water to see if it was the valve or a flat only to see the entire wall leaking air.
I also found a couple bumps on the tire as seen on the second picture.
Front tire seems to be ok, holds air, and no bubbles came out when sprayed.
Is this normal wear or this a manufacturer defect?

Do you have any sealant in them?
Have you tried laying them on the side to let the sealant form an layer on the inside?
Especially super light tires are prone to this.
Bumps on the rear tire looks odd, I had something like that after botched vulcanization attempt, when due to uneven pressure and temperature inner cord had shifted. I was reassured that structurally it was ok, but opted to change at first possible opportunity.
Get as much air as you can and go for a ride, get that sealant sitting
Only issues in this r are from Vittoria it seems. Don’t waste time. swap for something else. if it hasn’t sealed after 500miles, it won’t seal.
If those bumps in pic 2 are when the tyre is inflated then the tyre has probably failed.
That bubbling/raising on the tread suggests the casing has separated and is some how then allowing sealant through the sidewall.
Take back to place of purchase, or bring to a LBS that sells Vittoria and see if they can help out on a warranty.
This look just too bizarre and scary.
I’d return the tires and get a new pair.
I’d be contacting vittoria with these pictures, it doesn’t look right at all to me, those lumps aren’t going anywhere by themselves and you don’t know what they’re like structurally

Are these vittoria corsa pros? If they are then its a manufacturing defect if not then these aren’t tubeless ready becuase the tan cotton sidewall ones were never tubeless compatible.
More and more i see reasons to stay with inner tubes, goddamn that sucks, hope you can sort it soon

From my experience Tan walls usually are bad with tubeless. The compound or whatever they do to make it that colour seems to not be tubeless friendly. It works but not as well. They do seem defective though.
Warranty wise they will need the serial number usually found on the inside which is annoying so have fun with that lol.
I also tried Vittoria Corsas tubeless for a time, they need very much sealant because the sidewalls are Cotton, so you need to fill them up with sealant and hope it seals. Ride quality is perfect, but wasnt worth the struggle in my opinion, if you search online most tipps are that you should use latex based sealant.
In the end i switched to gp 5000 s with transparent sidewalls, they are not as comfortable as cotton sidewalls, but at least i dont have to struggle with loosing to much air …
Far too much pre-KOM. Take that back to the shop to get a warranty tyre.
They are your teeth but I would warranty that tire. The leaking air is annoying and could be related (likely) but regardless the bumps are a red flag.
FWIW I’m also warrantying some Vittorias that split on me with very low mileage. Circular splits all the way around each one. Doesn’t inspire confidence. While of course no manufacturer is perfect, this is my first tire warranty in 30 years cycling.Â
The bumps are absolutely a failure of the tire casing. This tire should NOT be ridden.
Same issue over here… Even worse… the complete tread of the tire is loosening from the carcass of the tire…. Looks like you’re tire has the same issue.
This is my 4rd tire with the same issue…(batch 1 I bought 3 tires; later on, when the first tire failed, I bought a new spare).
I asked Vittoria for warranty but they refused for the first two cases so I assume the same for this case.
On multiple places the tread has loosened from the carcass. Below is one of the places..

Vittoria tires are great in (low) rolling resistance but durability is extremely poor… The tire in my picture is below 1500KM of use (10-15 rides) and has been run in non-tubeless setup (so with innertube) with approx 5 bar tire-pressure.

What sealant are you using? could be a chemical incompatibility.

I’ve had nothing but problems with the durability and lifespan of Corsas. This is some of the worst I’ve seen.
These tires are not worth all of the trouble.

Why use TL on road tires at all, don’t the drawbacks outweigh the advantages?
I love TL on my MTBs and on my all terrain gravel, but those are 43mm-70mm in tire width. I ride them between 1 and 2.7 bar of pressure, and have enough volume in all tires (700c) so that if I lose pressure and the sealant fixes the whole, I can actually keep riding.
Quite often, with multiple sealants, I noticed that it doesn’t really hold pressure when I go above 4 bars on my gravel tires. If I ride 28mm roadbike tires, I need to ride them at like 5-7 bars, and if I lose pressure, its gone in an instant. Why should I go tubeless there?
