Hi fellas, thinking about stock seatpost replacement for my aluminium gravel bike and I just can’t choose.

I am big fan of Ritchey parts and I already have a WCS stem on my bike. What would you pick, carbon or WCS made of aluminium? Weight of both seatposts is also almost the same, my stock is made from aluminium and I don’t know if carbon will make any impact on ride. Visually I more like WCS version. Thoughts? Help me to choose please 🙏

  1. Neither. Although I’m a fan of Ritchey stuff from way back, their seatposts are not something I care for. The two bolts are in the wrong place. I much prefer a fore and aft arrangement that makes it easy to get a precise angle adjustment of your saddle.

Try a Deda Elementi carbon seatpost.
