  1. What psi should I use? Silca calculator says 70 for rear and 68 for front. I’m a total noob so any input is appreciated!

Also my sits bones fucking kill the moment I sat on the bike, is the Selle Italia X seat that bad or do I just need to fiddle around with the fit more? Thanks.

  2. The Schwalbe one that come on the bike are likely an OE-only tire, so any information you’re getting from a secondary website is trumped by what is actually on the tire. Schwalbe specifically is super confusing the way they name their tires in the first place, but stick to the 50-80. Specifically the tire you linked is designated to be used with a tube only, so it’s already a different tire than what’s on the bike.

When I put my info in sram’s tire calculator (30mm front, 32mm rear, 22mm inner rim width) it suggested 58 psi front – 56 psi rear for my weight, so the labeled pressure range seems about right to me. The silca calc gives me 63-65 given the same parameters. I use the sram calc for all my bikes and then fine tune it for the best ride feel. My advice is to put them into the sram calculator with your weight, add a few psi to what it says, then ride and dial it in to your own conditions.

Saddles are pretty individual dependent, but the selle Italia x that came on my grizl and ultimate did not work with my butt in any way, shape, or form. The squared off rubber nose damaged the seam on a cheaper pair of bibs I wore on it too, so I swapped it out very quickly.
