This is my 2021 Grail CFSL 8 with the Di2 all geared up for the Day Across MN. These bikes get a lot of hate for the double decker bars. After riding with it for many years, I can understand it because in the ultra scene, I’d love to be able to run aero bars. However this bike has been my go-to for all my gravel racing and has been through many ultra-distance rides and races. It was even my daily commuter when it was my only bike. It’s such a solid bike I love it. No issues. Yeah it’s scuffed up a bit but I take meticulous care of it. Has about 18k miles on it. Lot of replacement parts and she’s still going strong. My wife and I own several Canyons and I stand by their reliability.

  1. Old grail and old grx di2 look way better imho. New grail looks like a long road bike and the new grx is chubbier. The extra gear is neglectable on 2×12. Kudos to this beauty.

Edit: HOLY HELL ARE YOU CRAZY? I did 100 miles last Wednesday in 5h15 and my legs cramped to hard I wasn’t able to walk the 3 steps into my house. How are you still alive?
