Hi all!
I bought a child trailer to attach to my road bike so that I can bring my son to the daycare before taking my bike to work. However, for some reason I can't get this to work. The connector that is supposed to go on my rear axle won't turn the right way (the orb is supposed to face backwards perpendicular to the road). I'm posting pictures of the connectors to make it more clear.
Anyone who happens to know how I can fix this?

Flip the skewer?… lever to the drive side.
Probably you need to do some grinding, because the stays interfere
Get some spacer washers to get the bracket farther away from the frame so it can rotate. You will probably need a longer skewer.
