I took the train to Asbury Park and rode south through Deal all the way down to Belmar. Absolutely gorgeous ride, so many people out on bikes and walking, enjoying the day. I got a fantastic spicy chicken cheese steak sandwich, ate half, took the rest, and rode back up to Asbury Park to have a drink with my friends. Then I rode up to the edge of Sandy Hook and took the ferry back to NYC. I did a night ride up to Washington Square park, then over to the west side highway, down to World Trade Center. Took the Path to Exchange Place, rode through Jersey city, rode through Hoboken, then took the train home from there. Whew! What a day.
