Double new bikes for the wife and I. Just picked up my first new geometry bike and new mountain bike in 15 years. For me the XL- Trek Fuel EX 9.8 XT Gen 6, and for the wife and her first foray into the world of mountain biking, a M/L-Trek Marlin 5 Gen 2. Picked up both new for 7,000 AUD.
First ride out was simple trails in Belair National Park with the wife and bub riding a Topeak child seat on the back of the Marlin. Can’t wait for the little lad to get his own Trek Kickster soon!

Nice stuff, if you didn’t yet: Pull the airspring from the fork, big chance the piston is overgreased, clogging the transferport and making your fork unnecessarily hard.
