Got my new aeroad finally after many days of deciding between M or L. Went with M, happy with the fit and it’s an absolute beast.
Wanted to share as I spent many days looking in here before I committed and ordered, took it out for a spin today and it is just a dream. If anyone is on the fence, I’d advise you to double down and go for it 😄
Unfortunately my ride got cut short as riding in Tempelhofer feld can sometimes be a bit hectic, a small child walked into my driving line, as I emergency braked someone behind me driving a fixie (with no brakes) slammed straight into the back of me. Luckily no real damage but to the rear disc which needs to be straightened. My heart sank as my first bike related collision happens on the first day I take this out for a spin.
It was still rideable, just with a light rub against the pads. I went straight to the canyon store here as I don’t have the tools to fix it myself properly, they are awesome and I’ll take it in Monday where they’ll bend it back for me. Could have been much worse as luckily no damage to the wheel or the frame thankfully.
To summarise, amazing bike. To all my fellow Berliners, be careful on the Feld during summer.
