Oil leak bad. Needs O-ring replaced. Might as well do a full service and replace all seals and O-rings if you’re going to tear it apart.

Forks have a lot of moving parts that require oil to work properly. Oil is held in place by rubber seals. The recommended time to replace those seals and oils is usually at least once a year, but in guessing it’s never been done on that fork.
You need to have the fork serviced. This will mean opening it up, draining the oil, cleaning everything and replacing the rubber seals and the oil. This probably isn’t a diy project for you, so bring it in to a shop and have them deal with it for you.
