Hi, im ~160cm woman and my bike is [Polygon Monarch MYT](https://www.rodalink.com/id/polygon-sepeda-gunung-monarch-myt-502858.html).
The frame is in size M and said to be suitable for people 150cm-162cm tall. I chose this because I’ll be using the bike to commute to campus where I’ll be using normal clothes which could be loose, long, or short. The smaller frame makes it easy for me to hop on and off with all kind of attire.
I’ve only got the bike for ~2 months and still figuring out best position, but I’ve often find:
1. seat too low, but i can easily set it higher
2. handle bar too low?!? for more relaxed position I often hold it with the tip of the finger so I sit more upright
Is this a sign the frame is too small? or maybe I just need to find better position? IF it is too small, is there anything I could do beside buying a new one?:’)
Mainly I use this for short distance, 1-2km routine commute, up to 7km for weekend rides. I use it in city settings so not really worried about jumps etc
Thanks!

For your seat
1. get off the bike.
2. stand upright
3. crouch down 2 inches (20 cm)
4. Look at the angle your knees make.
5. set your seat so your knees make the same angle.

For the handle bar, that’s just the bike. The exact term is called the “reach”. You can buy another “bicycle stem” to change the “reach” for not a lot of money.
