Is the barrel nut on this derailleur hanger designed for any kind of special tool, or anything? Derailleur hangers are designed to be sacrificial parts, so I would have assumed they’d be designed to be easily replaced, possibly even in the road or whatever. The nut side just takes a standard 5mm hex, but the slot in the barrel nut seems larger than a typical flathead screwdriver a person would likely be carrying. So I’m wondering if it’s designed to fit a dime or something else a person might have easy access to?
The hole is a bit over 1/4”, and the full diameter is about 1/2”. The slot itself seems to be about 1/16” wide.
I can get it on with a 1/4” flathead in one slot, but it just seems like a surprising design.
Also, is that a commonly recommended torque value for the hanger? (Specialized Roll bike, if it matters.)

Though it’s the same tool fitting as a chainring nut wrench, it’s rarely needed. With the outside frame contact areas of the sleeve nut degreased and a touch of grease on the threads, the bolt will usually torque down inside it easily without any extra need to hold it in place.
