The bike route around Lake Constance (Bodensee in German) offers easy and relaxed cycling on good bike lanes and smaller roads in Central Europe. There are plenty of sights, beaches, restaurants, cafes and accommodation along the route. You can also rent bikes at many places, which makes this rout into a great starting point for any sort of bike touring.
You can easily make excursions, on gravel paths as well as by train to nearby sights. The video takes you on a tour around the lake including excursions, and finally connects to another route, the initial part of the Danube bike route: https://youtu.be/EFBvbGBN8pQ

Hey buddy, Great video! I was going to bike the Daube next year with a couple of friends but now you got me thinking of Lake Constance. Maybe both lol. All the best from California
