You can use RD limit screw (H limit) to move to a lower gear at the back (larger sprocket).
And use the FD for fast/slow gearing.
If you have a screwdriver.

You replace the shift cable. You can do this yourself or have your LBS do it for you. Shouldn’t be too expensive unless more than just the cable is toast.
