Hi all.
I received some great fullcrum wheels. But it had a 10speed cassette (red one) and I tried to fit my 8 speed. (Blue one) and obviously it didn't fit.
Question. I cannot find 8 speed cassette with deep grooves. What is the best course of action? Change the hub? What is this hub called? (Red) one so I can look it up and get a regular one that will fit my 8 speed cassette.

~~I think the red is a Campagnolo cassette.~~ In any case, it may be worth checking if you can just replace the freehub instead of the entire hub. Fulcrum should be able to help you out in identifying the part you are looking for (in all likelyhood a Shimano HG freehub compatible with your rear hub)
Edit: It has been pointed out that it is not a Campagnolo cassette. The rest of my response is still relevant.

This is an older Shimano 10-speed road *specific* freehub. They took their existing HG freehub body and deepened the splines in an attempt to decrease freehub bite with aluminum freehubs, and actually shortened the freehub body by 1mm because their 10-speed road cassettes at the time were 1mm narrower than 9-speed cassettes.
It was a short lived standard. Those 10-speed road cassettes fit fine on standard HG freehubs (with a 1mm spacer) but the new freehub standard couldn’t fit anything except 10-speed road cassettes, which meant manufacturers had little incentive to adopt it.
Unfortunately, to my knowledge there are no cassettes outside of old Shimano 10-speed road cassettes that fit this freehub body. You need to look into seeing whether Fulcrum offers a replacement freehub body for your wheel that fits standard HG cassettes. If not, you’re out of luck.
There’s also the possibility that fulcrum used that super short lived Shimano 10sp only body. It had the same HG spline layout, but the last 8 cogs had taller splines.
If that’s the case, you need a different freehub body to fit the 8 speed cassette or a different plan for the wheel.
