I have TPU inner tubes (RideNow) installed on DT Swiss R470 wheels and Victoria Zaffiro Pro 700c x 30 mm. The tire loses significant pressure over night. I just changed the TPU inner tube but noticed that a piece of yellow tape is showing after I installed the tube. Is this an issue? Could this be why the tire loses pressure over night?

While the yellow tape showing is a red flag, I’ve found that when you’ve had this much movement on the rim tape post install you probably pinched the tube during inflation which shoved the tape to the side and and now you have a very small leak.
Best guess with your info.
It could also mean nothing and you could have a leak from riding.
Was installing the tire was difficult? If so, that’s probably why the rim strip shifted. I would fix that because the tape is between the rim hook and tire bead. The friction between hook and bead is what keeps the tire in place. You don’t want the tire to blowoff.
Secondary is the flat issue. If the spoke hole is exposed, that could be a cause of a puncture. So could the edge of the rim strip abrading the tube.
TPU tubes are very good at retaining air, so if you are losing significant pressure overnight the tube is either compromised by a puncture or there is possible a leak at the valve core. What kind of rim tape is this? I’m on tubeless and my rim tape is just PET masking tape. I intentionally run the tape up the edges of the rim, but stop short of the very edge…
