  1. im 194 inseam 91. Size xl is perfect for me.

    All I did is remove all the spacers, my saddle height is 81cm on 175mm crank.

    You should have no issue to fix this bike on size XL.

    I was in your exact same spot (193cm, 89cm inseam) a little over a year ago [Read reply to comment on size.](https://www.reddit.com/r/CanyonBikes/s/ZE8vttK8xW). I was on the edge in the chart but decided to go with Cannyon’s recommendation because I purchased it online and traveled from abroad to the US and was going to bring it with me by aeroplane on the way back; so I needed to get it right the first time. When I first tried it on, it felt huge and that I almost needed to seat in the edge of the seat and that I was reaching out to the handlebar at max arm extension. I even got a sore back and arms after the first ride, but then a pro bike fitter adjusted it and gave me reassurance I had picked the perfect size. Today, it rides amazing.

  3. Diffucult to say, I was in a similar position but with L and M and an inseam that was short compared to my torso. I choose the L and kind of regret it because my seat post is in the same high as the handlebar and I want a more aggressive position. At the same time I feel a shorter reach would be wrong. What seat height do canyon suggest? I would compare that with the seat height interval for the sizes

    Get what canyon recommends and if you don’t like it send it back. They guarantee the right fit. If you’re feeling generally comfortable then take it to a bike fitter and get it setup perfectly for you. Makes all the difference!

  5. Neither, you won’t get enough reach on L with your long torso without swapping out the cockpit. Your inseam is on the lower end for XL, using the le Mond method (which is close to what canyon use to estimate seat height) you get 77.7cm for your optimal seat height and the minimum seat height for XL is 77.3cm meaning if you like a slightly lower seat you won’t be able to do it on XL. Canyons recommendation for your seat height is 769-779mm and half of that range is below the minimum height for endurace. You also won’t really have any drop from the saddle to the handlebars since the stack is pretty high and your saddle would be all the way in but that might be ok if you’re going for a super relaxed fit. You can try the XL and see if the saddle height feels ok but you’re probably better off with a bike where you can swap out the stem.

    This is all assuming you took your inseam measurement correctly, you did use the book method and pulled it up pretty tight where the saddle would be like the instructions say, right?

    Unfortunately, my previous bike got stolen… It was a Specialized Diverge Comp E5 62 frame size. Unfortunately, I don’t remember any measurements, but it felt good.

  7. 192, 93 I have an XL and it is perfectly fine, it is a big bike though. I think I’d go with an L if I bought it now:
    * Canyon Midloader bag sits perfectly
    * Handlebars go lower
    * Hopefully a bit more agile

    Currently eyeing that new Aeroad in L.

  8. I’m 189/89 and the L was actually a tiny bit too big for me, the M would be too small.

    I found it hard to find the right placement. Went to bike fitter and indeed the bike was too long. By a couple of cm, but this ofc this is also correctable with hip flexibility. I took up yoga for 6 weeks, improved my hip flex and it’s now good.

    Lots of people say size down, but I think this is based on belief that you swap out the stem which is not possible with an aerobar. Stick with canyon advice and if it’s a bit too long take up yoga.

    194 cm/95 cm inseam. CF 8 Disc and I ended up getting the 2XL. Going to order a shorter stem per bike fit, but other than that it’s pretty perfect
