I'm looking around for a road bike to upgrade from an old Priority Gotham Classic. Budget up to $800, but don't feel certain with used bikes. Using it for commuting and biking around Brooklyn and Manhattan, so decent bike path coverage but pretty awful road conditions with potholes and uneven pavement. Thanks!

It wouldn’t be my first choice for a commuter bike. I would want something you can fit 30 to 40 mm tires. It would depend on if you want to prioritize road riding over commuting.
For a 10 speed carbon bike it is priced fairly.
