  1. Amy, Positive thinking? You are amazing. Kyle, you looking at the cupboard is literally me every time I do a long one!!! Suggestion: Why don't you both do the Haute Route Alps? Having done it 3.1 times (Crashed the last time at the bottom of the Col de la Colombière clean breaking 5 ribs and fracturing 7 others) I can tell you apart from my own stupidity (through massive under fuelling and dehydration) it is the best thing you will ever do. Would love to meet you one day, hopefully on the Haute Route?!!!!

  2. Women don't have the testosterone men have..and when we push ourselves to exhaustion it causes more depression and imbalances that are not good especially eating bad things. No need to push yourself 😒

  3. Hi Amy, you have inspired my wife and to get back on our bikes. We are loving your vlogs, inspiring. Is there any way in your videos to give a quick map of where you are riding on that day? We live in Canada and have been to England a couple of times but we still do not really know the country. Keep on riding!!

  4. πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ» Excellent Amy and Kyle! LOVED seeing your mom and sister in the footage. Enjoyable video as usual. Thanks for sharing with us!!😊

  5. Oooh, definitely plant your mint outside! It isn't an indoor plant and won't thank you for making it live there.

Oh, and well done to the whole family for their support – genuinely great effort by all. Molly's enthusiasm cheering you both on was really funny at 21:50, but mum's face at 19:03 was my absolute favourite bit!

  6. Well done Miss Amy and Mr. Kyle!! You are an inspiration to everyone who has overcome a mental illness. I have also overcome, as much as possible, Kien Bock's disease.. due to a martial arts accident, the lunate bone in my wrist disintegrated. I didn't think that I would ever be able to ride a bike after that because I couldn't lean on the handlebars. But then i bought an endurance bike and voila! i can ride it without a problem!! I can ride 80, 90, 100km in a session without any problems!! I wish that we had more for cycling where I live. I live in Northern Ontario, Canada. We do have a bike tour of Manitoulin Island, the largest fresh water island in the world, but I don't know much about it. I only learned about it this spring. Next year I plan to ride it. As far as i know, it is a leisurely 2 day event.

Mint? Plant it in a pot. Mint is an invasive plant. It will send out shoots, invade, and take over your entire garden. And you won't be able to get rid of it. I think that it is perennial and will come back year after year.

I also love beans on toast. And! I recently, after hearing about it several times, made vegan flapjacks! I frosted them with white chocolate and they were delicious..

  7. I still can't fathom these times/distances. I cycle a fair amount, ~150 miles a week (never more than 80 miles at once) and after 5 hours on the bike I'm ready to throw the towel in, let alone motoring on for 24 hours πŸ˜…Hats off to both you and Kyle for your determination and athleticism!

  8. Don’t forget how many miles your vΓdeos have inspired others to ride. Huge value in that. I think the positivity is infectious.
I genuinely don’t know how you do these rides whilst filming and then the work of editing etc. Max kudos to you both.

  9. Well done! That was epic and inspiring. Shows how important a good support team is. And it's great to see someone using a Trangia – get that kettle boiled in half an hour! πŸ˜€

  10. Hats off to anybody that can sit on a bike for 24 hours, my best is 13 hours and I know how tough that was! Probably not the best idea to do it at 66 years old though…πŸ˜‚Massive congratulations to you both for a truly incredible effort, unbelievable distances guysπŸ‘

  11. Remember seeing your result on Strava when it came through & thinking wow well done that's an amazing achievement.
Watching this video shows how it was more impressive than I thought considering the course was harder than last year & you were battling your head for a large part of it. Well done the pair of you.

  12. It was your video of last year's event that made me subscribe to your channel. Another cracker for this year. Congratulations to you both and massive kudos to your support team, an epic effort from them as well!
