I did a thing (dropper on brifter lever)

I am in the process of converting my old road bike into a 1x gravel/commuter and I didn’t want to have a lever that did nothing so I took apart my left shifter and tinkered around until I figured out how to make my left shifter actuate without indexing and now it triggers my dropper post

There aren’t a ton of tutorials on how to do this out there so I kind of stumbled through it- I didn’t know which sub to share this in but I figured the DIY crowd here would appreciate it.
