Hi all,
I’ll be purchasing my first (two) mtb. One for me, and one for the kiddo to start riding easy nearby trails. I’ve narrowed it to these two options: one is a 24’ and the other is the 23’
Is there much of a difference in terms of components? The pricing is negligible so if there is one that is “better” I’d go with that one. Any input helps. Again, this will be our first mountain bikes and if we really get into at some point we will upgrade components as we can.
Thanks for any help.

Option one, the 2023 model, is definitely the better buy. Both have similar suspension but the drive train is much nicer on the 2023 model.
2023 just for the SLX. That SX is shockingly bad, I had it for years on my t7 and it didn’t work right till the day it was ripped off my frame by my wheel (that part was my bad). I got the 2023 a2 a few days ago, took the tubes out and she’s been ripping so far! Great climber for sure
