Hello, I’ve searched in sub posts but I couldn’t find answer for my question. I want to buy a set of Mavic Ksyrium Elite wheels 2005-6y. fitted with 9 speed Campagnolo cassette. I want to use my 8 speed cassette with shallow notches for the splines (with A, B, C, D etc. letters). Is there somehow way to fit it on Mavic hub. I can’t find the exact pattern used for this type of wheels, but something says to men that if the freehub body is not one with 4 fixing splines it could work out. So the question is can I use this older style cassette with modern hub?

I think, and someone can correct this, 8,9,10 are the same size freehub with the same spline. There used to be a campag freehub made for mavic.

Campagnolo 8 speed is a bit of a nightmare compatability wise.
