I’ve recently gotten more into recreational road cycling. I currently ride between 200-250kms each week on a very pretty but well used and undersized ’90 Connondale ST600. I want to upgrade to something in better condition that fits. The bike pictured is my size. It doesn’t come with the pedals but that’s not a showstopper for me. I don’t know anything about Cervelos. I tried to gauge the market for other comparable bikes with little success. Is this bike worth the price/the right fit for my needs? Thanks.

    Is this a late 90’s CervĂ©lo Eyre?

Are you OK with having shifters on the ends of your drops?

Also, this is a really old bike. I’d be worried about the integrity of the frame and how worn out the cassette is.

I think its cool from a vintage / historical perspective but I wouldn’t buy it as my main road bike.

This is an old school time trial bike converted to a road bike. It will put you into a very forward seating position with a lot of pressure on your hands. For most people this would be unridable. For the others it’s merely uncomfortable.
