  1. At that price point it’s hard to say, things are kinda all over the place. If it looks and rides solid, and fits you, then go for it.

  2. Are you 6’3″+? It is a frame for a tall person. Even if it fits it is set up for an aero position normally used by Triathletes. You could swap the handlebars out for a normal drop bar pair. But for a beginner I would suggest a bike that doesn’t need any changes.

    I would change out the bars though. Get some regular drops. Doesn’t have to be expensive just aluminum bars. I’m sure you could probably find a used set

    New bar tape and bars could make it a nice ride for under 200 if it’s in good shape.

    I’d offer 100-125 and see if they take it. It all depends on what kind of shape the bike is in.

    Only as a collector’s item. Thats an early 90s lugged steel Specialized. There are sub Reddits in which that bike would get people all worked up.
