You can try to use an extraction kit, but if you do not have experience using one you should probably ask your local auto mechanic to try. Worst case scenario they fail and you drill it out and re tap it to a larger size.

Very common. You’ll need to drill out the old one which often fails unless you’re really good at removing broken bolts.
