Got some great looks hooking this thing on to the lift.
When i brought this bike to the park I thought I'd just play around on the flow trail once or twice just to try it out and spend the rest of the day on the "proper" mtb. Ended up using this bike at least half of the runs, including a bunch of good times on the more gnarly trails in this park. I'm thoroughly impressed with the thin wall ikons on this bike which held up to a bunch of jagged rocks. I think I'm going to start bringing a spare xbike to the park, it's just too much fun.

Looks like you had a lot of fun!
I cleared the first two jumps on our local baby jump trail on my partner’s city/trekking bike with fenders, dynamo, lights, rack, etc. was good for a chuckle but I quickly backed down from anything serious.

For the sake of completeness:
This abomination i have affectionately named the basket case is a 1998 giant terrago which i converted to disk brakes by tig welding some scraps onto the fork and frame.
It is running microshift advent 9 speed, vuelta quattro wheels on deore hubs with maxxis ikons, tubeless, spank spoon handlebar and spank split stem using a deda quill adapter, the brakes are formula “the one”
The cable guides for the front derailleur are perfectly placed for the routing of its 170mm dropper seatpost. And last but not least: shopping basket
