Hello everyone, I’ll be moving to Calgary 🇨🇦 pretty soon and I’m taking my bike with me.
Last time i moved to a city where I didn’t know anyone joining group rides and being part of the fixed community really helped me making friends.
For the people from the area, are there any group rides in the city?
It doesn’t have to be fixed gear only but I’d prefer to join a more chill one and not like the middle age road bike bunch.

I don’t know any groups or about the community here personally. When you arrive and are settled, hit me up and can go for a ride. Im still getting used to my fixed gear, but a Saturday or Sunday ride along the river to Inglewood to hit a brewery is always a good time.
It’s a weird cycling city, super car dependent but then it has a lot of great bike paths along the rivers. Welcome to Calgary!
