But I’m worried it wouldn’t be a good fit if I’d like to take it bikepacking to Scotland or Scandinavia. Could this bike, along with some upgrades accompany me on such a trip? I really want to be able to go offroad, especially in places like Scotland or Sweden. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I wouldn’t think this is an ideal bike. This is more of a freeride bike, hence the ability to run 140-160mm suspension. The main triangle is a little small, and there doesn’t seem to be any extra mounting points. Could you make it work? Probably, but there are much better options out there for the same price or cheaper.
