male beginner cycling looking to buy my first proper road bike.
used road bikes in my area are shockingly expensive. this appears to be the best price i’ve seen on one in awhile. i like the idea of something with 105s and i can swap out seat, bars, etc to better suit my geometry.

Women’s bikes are usually shorter in the top tube than men’s., as women generally have longer legs and shorter torsos. To make it fit you wouldn’t need to do anything with the bars but you may find it needs a longer stem. The only way to know for certain is to try it. It’s certainly in very good condition and hardly looks like it’s been ridden, but I’m not sure I’d pay 550 for a bike old enough to be fitted with rim brakes. I can’t see a year in the ad, but they swapped to discs in 2019 so it’s older than that.
