I’m looking to use the bike in that picture to rebuild/rework the whole bike, This is whats on my list that I would like to complete or get some sort of opinion.
1. Frame – Shown in picture, unless I find a free or better frame under $150 CAD
2. Fork – Stock shown in picture, unless someones got a better recommendation under $150 CAD
3. Rear Shock – Shown in the amazon picture, hoping to find something better under $150 CAD
4. Tire – Going to use stock rims, but wanted to get an opinion on the tires shown in the picture.
5. Brake Lever – I have an updated disc’s and calipers, I just want a cleaner look for the brake lever separate from my actual shifter, it looks cluttered and not sty… LOL
6. Shift Lever – Hoping to get something close to deore XT ones or better, looking at ebay currently
7. Seatpost – Hoping to find a good dropper post (im not looking for something name brand) just looking for something that actually works for a little bit until I can fully upgrade
8. Crankset – dunno if I should keep it stock from the bike or either upgrade it aswell.
21. Chainring – Looking for a strong opinion on this.
22. Chain – I just need something that moves the bike…. LOL
24. Cassette – hopefully getting a full set from a kit.
25. Derailleur(s) – Deore XT ones or if someone has an alternate (cheaper) set.

wouldn’t spend $5 on this trash, it rides like shit and you won’t be able to fix that no matter how many parts you change
Just buy a normal used bike for the money you planned for the components.
